Anna Riggins (she/her) is a New York City based actor and singer with a deep love for storytelling in all its forms. Her artistic journey began in early childhood by making up melodies before she could speak in full sentences, and clacking around the house in her grandma’s high heels, already chasing the thrill of performance.

Growing up in the Midwest, she grew up equally immersed in music, theater, and athletics. She loved playing soccer with her brother and dad, and biking long distances through cornfields with her mom and grandpa. Piano and singing lessons from a young age became her basis and passion for understanding music. These early passions instilled in her a strong sense of discipline, teamwork, and emotional presence, qualities that continue to shape her work as an actor.

Anna went on to train at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts for her senior year of high school, then earned her BFA in Theatre Arts from Boston University. During her time at BU, she discovered a love for directing and the development of new work. This process expanded her creative perspective and deepened her craft as a performer.

Known for her strong voice, grounded presence, and reliability as a collaborator, Anna brings curiosity, generosity, and joy to every rehearsal room. Since graduating, she has been auditioning, studying, and building new pieces with fellow artists — all while performing as “Toni” in Speakeasy Magic each weekend.

Anna is passionate about bold, collaborative storytelling and is endlessly hungry to learn, create, and connect.
